Years of Excellence
SOFTEK was founded in 1981 before
the IBM PC came into existence! It was a time when mice
had four legs, telephones had a dial, the web was a home
for spiders, and windows were glass inserts in buildings.
Over the last 25 years, computer technology has evolved
to the point where mice have grown buttons, telephones
became wireless, people chat and view movies on the Web,
and Windows has become a computer operating system used
throughout the world. The driving force behind these changes
was the development of software tools that solved real
problems in the workplace. Since its beginning, SOFTEK
has been part of this computer evolution. Our design tools
for Civil and Structural Engineering have risen to the
forefront of modern analysis and design techniques and
our dedication to innovation and customer support will
keep SOFTEK users up to date.
SOFTEK Services Ltd. incorporated in
1981. The DOS® version
of P-FRAME® was
launched soon after. In 1987, the DOS® version
of S-FRAME® was
also introduced. In 1995, SOFTEK launched S-FRAME®,
P-FRAME®,
and S-STEEL for the Windows® operating
system. In 1996 and 1998, SOFTEK introduced B-SECT, C-SECT,
and W-SECT - reinforced concrete beam, column, and wall
section design software respectively. In 2001, SOFTEK
added B-LINE to our concrete design suite. Over the years,
we have established thousands of licenses worldwide.
We sincerely thank our customers
for their continued input and support over the years. As
structural engineering technology and standards change,
our products have been and will continue to be updated,
improved, and evolve to accommodate those changes. We also
strive to make our products more powerful, easier to use,
and incorporate the features that users frequently request. |
